    And even more shares

I stayed up ridiculously late after a full day at work yesterday and put togther a few layouts. Rich has been away at a conference and I am not sleeping well anyway...I may as well be scrapping don't you think?
I love these new Graphic 45 papers even though they depart quite a bit from my usual style.

This one is a design team project for Little Scrapbook Shop. This one features the new My Minds Eye Tiny Dancer range. Little Piper is perfect for this range :)

This one is one I started a few weeks ago at a crop and didn't have quite the right thing to finish it. I added some of the new American Crafts Teen stickers to it and now it is done.

This one is another LSBS Design Team project using the new American Crafts Teen range. I love the new Flair badges and the funky tween patterns.

No scrapping session is complete without a layout of my little nephew. These are some photos I took on his first day home from hospital and haven't scrapped them yet. I love this Making Memories baby range and have had it put aside for this for a while.

I have a few deadlines I am working on so I better get into it. That and the washing.....

    More shares

This layout features Master Ethan on his first solo foray into cake making on the school holidays. The cake was pretty good I have to say. Click on the pics to see them larger if you like :)
Don't worry...he didn't really lick the cake in that last pick. Well not that I saw anyway...hehe.

I've had these babushka papers for a few weeks and had them in mind for a little tag album using some photo booth pics of my Mum and I from 1976. I love these little photos and this little album is a cute way to display them :)

    Sharing

Just a couple of layouts to share. I only managed one layout at the crop on Saturday as I was technically working and not entirely motivated ;) My sister uploaded a lovely new version of Photoshop for me so it was still a productive day :)

Another layout of my nephew when he was all new and fresh and delicious. He is still delicious but just not so new ;)

I have a few more projects on the go for DT committments and a magazine commission so I'll be back to share again soon :)

    It started out innocently enough...

....a walk to the park that is. I thought I'd take the camera along to take a few photos of the kids together. Easy huh!?
    Errr....umm.... no.
This one is the best of the lot.

What on earth Connor is doing in the front I'll never know. He lives in a little bubble at the best of times and I am sure he is giving directions.... or something! Ethan is trying to get a good look in his ear and Mikaela is looking a little deranged. Jarred has hidden in the back with an odd sort of look. So much for nice shots of the kids.
These ones will be added to the 'They may not be pretty but sure do capture the kids the way they really are' pile of pics ;)

....and then I caught this one. Pretty cute huh!

    Weekending

This has been one of those weeks where the kids have been invited to a ridiculous amount of birthday parties. I literally spent a whole morning shopping for birthday gifts for other people's children earlier this week and am glad the weekeknd's festivities are over.
Master Connor - AKA Master of Disguise - was so taken with the whole birthday thing. It is all a bit of a novelty to him - this invitation/party/party bag/balloon/present thing. Yesterday he went to a party at a local playcentre and had a blast!
This is him today - still wearing the wristband and party hat from the day before.
He wore the whole thing to church this morning and finally gave into taking the wristband off tonight after it looked decidedly manky after his bath!

I went to the Scrapbook Princess 15 hour crop yesterday and managed a few layouts. I have a couple more to share tomorrow when I finish them.
    My little nephew...just for a change ;)

    ......*ahem* and again.....

My two little guys with my cousin's little man...they all LOVE each other and are great mates :)

I am yawning and nodding from lack of sleep this weekend. I better sign off before I fall asleep on my keyboard ;)

    Cybercropping

If you are looking for a little Scrapping action this weekend, pop over to Little Scrapbook Shop for our April Cybercrop. This month's theme is Let's Get Physical which is not as obvious as it seems ;) My Challenge for this month is to scrap a photo featuring a physical attribute. I have scrapped a gorgeous photo of Ethan and his sparkly, dark blue eyes. He is a bit of heartbreaker isn't he?
    Just quietly ;)

There are heaps of challenges and some fun chat going on all weekend so pop on over for a visit :)
I am scrapping all day with Shan and the Scrapbook Princess girls. How good is that! Back on Sunday with some new layouts to show if I get anything done between chatting and laughing :)

    Love, layouts and... little else

    The Love Bit :)

This is Jarred, my eldest son. He rarely features on my blog as he is usually as far away from the camera as he can get. This afternoon I managed to snap him as he helped his little cousin into the swing (actually she calls it the 'wing').
He adores his little cousins, and as the eldest grandchild in the family, takes good care of them and dotes on them all :)
For all the drama and angst associated with being a teenager, he sure can be a sweetheart when he wants to be ;)

This layout is of is my niece Jenna. I have used a patterned paper colour blocking technique which I have featured over here at LSBS if you want to try it for yourself.

Some more Basic Grey Marrakech for LSBS. This paper range just keeps on going and going with all the patterns and elements it offers!
If you click on the image below to enlarge it you will notice Lethal Ethan's rolled down socks. My sone is a Queer Eye for the Straight Guy candidate if there ever was one!

And lastly Miss Mikaela with those darn beanie Kids. I did a digi layout using this photo a while back but wanted to scrap a traditional layout too. Any excuse to use some fun, girly elements :)

I'm a Sass kind of Lass

It's Easter Sunday and I have been AWOL for a couple of weeks haven't I? My sister pointed out my lack of blogging last night so I felt to update this morning purely for her benefit ;) Hehe

Things have been a bit hectic around here with Lethal Ethan breaking his collarbone a week or so ago. After some to-ing and fro-ing back and forth from the hospital he doesn't need surgery but the break is pretty bad. It is broken in two places and the bone is not aligning so well. Hopefully when we check back in on Tuesday it will be a little straighter!
    Who's idea were scooters anyway?
Ignore the photo...it's all for show *sigh*

Being Easter Sunday today the Feral four are in fine form...hippety hopping all over the place. I am enjoying the lull before the chocolate storm, yet to to come, when we meet up with the family for lunch today.
We are off to church soon to celebrate this Resurrection Sunday - as soon as I convine Lethal Ethan that chocolate is not a breakfast food....even with milk.
The kids all received a couple of little treats in their baskets along with the usual chocolate...Master Connor - king of disguises and all things costume - loves his glasses...how cute are they?

The carnage begins....I made the little tags for the baskets from the new Sassafrass lass papers...more about that below.....

When I walked into the shop to start work yesterday I almost fell over in shock and delight...I may have swooned even! The new Sassafrass Lass papers were in! The ranges are so fun and the colours are amazing. So much yellow which I love right now. I made up a layout for the shop while at work yesterday with this adorable photo of my niece Piper.

I did another layout last night of my nephew Lachlan...love this sweet photo. Goes to show that baby layouts don't have to be all powder blue with baby animals ;)

I've been working on lots of projects which I can't share right now which is partly why I've been a bit quiet here. I'll be sure to come back and share soon.
Wishing everyone a Hppy and safe Easter break :)
