    Did you ever...........

.........slid down a grassy hill on a cardboard box? My kids have. This is one of our favourite activities at our brilliant local park. The kids just never get enough of it...and neither do I! I took them down there yesterday afternoon for a little impromptu play and someone else had the boxes this time. We just had a turn...along with a hundred other kids LOL.
Not a Gameboy or X-box in sight...just a whole lotta grass, a hill and some cardboard. We left with grass stains and smiles. How much better can a day be?

Ah Kerryn, this brings back such pleasant memories of when my kids were young, not only did they do the cardboard down the grass slopes, we had the black plastic, hose and detergent too. I can still hear their shouts of joy ringing in my head.

Oh our kids do this too Kerryn.
Our fave spot is in Geelong when we go there for our little family trips away. The nice green, grassy hill is right on the foreshore......heaps of fun.
We even have Josh on video - we have worked out the best way to do it is to use the plastic corrugated board coated with nice candle wax.......too funny.

      Good on ya kids.

      Luv Sandie
