Miss Mikaela had her 11th birthday on Monday. We had a low-key day this year as she had a big bash for her 10th last year. The only thing she really wanted for her birthday was to get her ears pierced. She insists she was the very last female member of her entire year at school to have no holes in her lobes.
Whether that is actually true or not I have no idea but we let her go ahead and have them pierced. She does look terribly cute and she is over the moon happy.
A few recent layouts to share. I have some more but haven't photographed them yet.
Some adorable October Afternoon and my little niece Piper. So cute!
One of my favourite photos - from the Canon 5 photo competition from this year. Canon sent out 5 items and criteria to shoot and these hundreds-and-thousands were one of the items.
Some layouts for work - this is one of my January classes at Scrapbooks etc.
One for Lyndal's fantastic 'Sketched' class. A double no less! These photos were taken in a very simple and run-down classroom in Laos. I love these images.
And another class for January using more of the Making Memories Mistletoe collection.
My computer is still playing up and won't be fixed properly until Monday so I'll see how I go getting back in here to upload more layouts. Otherwise I'll see you when I get back from my long weekend in Sydney!!
tes créations sont plus belles les unes que les autres, j'aime tout

ReplyDeleteHi Kerryn!
ReplyDeleteWow! Isn't the internet and google world just amazing :) CONGRATULATIONS on winning the photo competition! I can't believe I can actually say this to you directly. I immediately loved your image, it represents so perfectly for me what it was like for 'my' generation to grow up as kids. I've often thought how my boys can't experience such a simple pleasure.
Thank you for your comment. Great to 'meet' you. I'll be sure to visit your blog again.
Cheers :)
