As part of a sewing challenge over at Essential baby, I have made a little Nintendo DS Lite carry case for Mikaela. It is made from just one Fat Quarter of quilting fabric as per the challenge instructions. (For the materially challenged, a fat quarter is a quilting term for a piece of fabric measuring approx 1/4 of a metre) I had her choose the fat quarter she wanted to use and she decided on this Sundae fabric. Absolutely nothing to do with her DS, just because it was cute :)

ReplyDeleteOh that's so cute ... can I place an order? Kelsey would love something like that for her DS! Hmm, I wonder if my sewing machine would survive if I used it on material rather than paper? Not likely!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fat quarter lesson. Im fairly new to this sewing caper and have been desperate to know what it meant.
ReplyDeleteCheers
