Looooong weekend
Saturday was the monthly crop day at Scrapbook Princess where Shan and I scrapped all day long into the night. We had such a good time and got lots of scrapping done. Here are a few layouts I managed to do on the day. The one below I did when I got home that night.
Thislayout is one I forgot to share the other day. Using some new Basic Grey papers. Love them.
And a piccie of Miss Mikaela on Sunday afternoon enroute to the Brisbane Lions versus Melbourne game at the Gabba. Lions won in a very convincin manner and we had a blast, despite the 30 degree temperature and a tiny bit of sunstroke for Mikaela. That scarf sure didn'tstay on long!
Last, but not least, Pop over to Lusi Austin's blog for the chance to win an amazing RAK of Buzz and Bloom goodness. Lots of other lovely bits in there too! Lusi's stamps and chippies are too cute for words and this is a good chance to win some for yourself.

Did you ever...........
Not a Gameboy or X-box in sight...just a whole lotta grass, a hill and some cardboard. We left with grass stains and smiles. How much better can a day be?

Scrapbook Creations
The next 2 are digi layouts for challenges at the Scrap Of Faith blog. The first is achallenge to use a worship song as inspiration and to include the title or words of the song. Perfect reason to use my 'Colour' conference photos of Brooke Fraser.
This one is a scripture challenge using Psalm 46:10 . This photo is of Jarred 'commanding' the waves at Mooloolaba.

Observations
I wonder if it is intrinsic or something learned? Is it behavior emulated by younger siblings from older ones already old enough to be catching girl germs?
Ethan still likes having girls as friends but he occasionally wrinkles up his nose at the thought of girly things. Like dancing for example...check out this little crew of wallflowers at the party. Hilarious!
He may not want to dance, but he sure loves to swing.........
And he has a ball permanently attached to his foot...or forehead :)
