New Layouts to share.
Love this new Fancypants Daily Grind range -
I used this photo for a Christmas wall hanging at LSBS recently but did not scrap it for a layout until this week. And lastly a layout for Little Scrapbook Shop using the Basic Grey Eva range.

10 000 visits!
I mainly like to blog our little everyday moments, as well as our big ones, to have a record of our family life but also to share whet we get up to with family and friends that don't see us all the time.
Tomorrow is a scrappy day with Shan so hopefully I'll get some layouts done to share...who am I kidding!? There will be coffee, Junior Mints and lots of chat though ;)
Have you tried these minty, chocolate coated drops of heaven? If not, you need to! Shan forced me to try them last week and they are amazingly good.
See the benefits of our scrapping together? What brilliant things we share :) Hopefully tomorrow's Junior Mints will be jam packed with mojo!
*NEWSFLASH*
EXTREME news here today!! My SIL is a new designer on the US TV show Extreme Makeover Home Edition and the episodes she is in have started on Foxtel today!! The kids are all hyper seeing Aunty Didi on the TV. Be sure to have a little look at her on W channell if you get a chance! Here she is on the set of the show................

New Layouts
This layout I started on Tuesday with my scrap day with the awesome Shan. I did a whole lot of talking and very little scrapping as per usual and managed to barely cut a bit of paper and shuffle a few things around LOL. Last night I pulled it out and finished it off.

My Easy, Breezy, Beautiful.........
That's right, miss Mikaela is gracing the cover of Scrapbooking Memories magazine this month and it looks so good LOL. I have been very happy in my heart about this layout being published and the cover was a big bonus!
Big thanks to the lovely Tracy Wyldman for scanning the pic for me as I haven't got a copy yet!

Staycation....
Today is a pupil free day in Qld and the kids were a bit antsy after 2 return trips to the airport in 12 hours (last night for Rich and Jarred and this morning for my MIL) so we went to the park this afternoon to let off some steam. Mummy, of course, brought the camera along hehe.
...and didn't these 2 love the camera *sigh*
Looking forward to scrapping these! How easy are my kid's 21st's going to be!!

Toots, Thai and Trains
Firstly the toot - I have had a digital layout accepted for Scrapbook Trends magazine! I love this US magazine with it's cool, smaller format and the book-like quality is so lovely. I am so excited to have a layout appearing in this great mag.
The last week has been busy, busy, busy and I have done very little scrapping. I have been preparing for Rich and Jarred to go to Thailand on Sunday. Rich is traveling with a group from Church who are continuing work on an orphanage we established some time ago. He is also teaching English to a few different groups and is working with Compassion with a project for babies and children who's parents have died from AIDS. This is his second year going with this group and he has a great passion for what they do there.
This year we have decided to send Jarred along too. He will miss a few weeks of school (first year high school) but we feel the benefits of traveling with Rich will far outweigh any lost school time. It will be an eye opening and life changing experience for him and I know that he will have a greater appreciation for life here in Australia when he returns. He has his camera and travel diary all ready to document his trip for his scrapbooking Mother!
I was able to travel to the Ipswich train museum with Connor's kindy class this week. It was a great day and Connor was so excited! He is train mad and loved the museum. There was a circus theme happening while we were there and we saw clown shows, played dress-ups and rode the train. Lots of fun! There's Connor in the red hat.
He couldn't understand why he couldn't drive...maybe next time ;)

What's wrong with this picture?
Look closely..........
That's the sweet baby Jesus nestled in his manger...right alongside the train tracks. My son needs some serious remedial bible story sessions.
Is it any surprise the same child used a plastic bag to make overalls? He was a farmer.....of course he was. A waterproof one by the looks of this ensemble.
*DISCLAIMER* Before anyone calls DOCS, I do not condone the wearing of plastic bags as costumes - we were putting away the groceries and the bag had a hole in it. He was fully supervised in this potentially dangerous activity at all times :)
On a much more serious note, head on over to Little Scrapbook Shop this weekend for the Haberdashery Heaven Cybercrop. This is the step by step project I have made for this weekend's events. Hope you can join us!

Lots to share...
I tend to start layouts at these crops and then finish them at home. Usually the titles, journaling etc is saved for a quiet moment at home. Today I managed to finish my 3 layouts I started last night.
This one is Jarred and Connor. I love this photo as it captured their relationship beautifully!
This one is classic Connor hehe. He really is the funniest little thing and I love this photo that shows how he is finally growing into those eyes and eyebrows LOL.
Miss Mikaela of course...looking sweet as sugar (but we know better). Just kidding - she has her moments but she really is my sweetie as the journaling says :) This K and Co range is so pretty and girly...not my usual style at all but I love it.
Lastly is a Kaiser 'Party' album for LSBS this month. The album just literally went on sale in the store tonight and this is what I did with it using these Kaiser papers and lots of ribbon and bling.
This one is coming your way Jenna!
><> School goes back tomorrow and I am a tad excited LOL. I have loved the holidays but am ready to get back into routine. The kids are all shiny and ready too...mostly. Jarred is keen for a few more days off but he heads off to Thailand in two weeks with Rich so he has no real complaints!

Sitting, Swimming and Scrapping
"She is better than TV" said Mikaela and that is saying a lot!
For privacy reason I can not show her face but you get the idea............
Today a group of School Mums (and our token SAHD) ventured to the Science Centre with all of our kids in tow. We boarded the city bus (that's 11 adults and at least 2 children each!) petrifying passengers as the kids clambered for the backseats.
I swear with one man and 10 women we looked like some sort of polygamist cult. If only we could have used our plural family status to gain a family discount at the Science Centre. As it is we all paired up and made up 'families' to gain cheaper entry LOL.
After the kids (parents really) were all scienced out, we traipsed back to Southbank for some lunch. Some of the group left to catch the bus home and a few of us stayed for the kids to have a little play at the playground........which had a little creek......and the kids had no swimmers.....
...so we stripped them off like any self respecting parents would and let them go for it! There were jocks all round!
Lastly this is a layout I did for LSBS using the new Basic Grey Eva range. Aren't the papers so pretty? Can't wait to do some more!
