    And one more...

This layout was done today instead of about 400 important things I should have been doing *sigh*. My sweet nephew Lachlan just for a change ;)

Some cute chippy, painted, birdie cuteness...

And some chipboard buttons to finish it all off.

Now to see what else catches my attention and takes me away from washing and folding....it might be coffee time!

    Layouts, Love and Laughter

    Firstly the layouts...

This one is a bit of fun. Master Connor mastering breakfast :)

    The Love -
This sweet photo of my Sister and Nephew using some yummy October Afternoon Cherry Hill...yum!

And the Laughter -  We are over halfway through the school holidays and the kids are getting into the groove...just as it's almost time to go back to school *sigh*. Mikaela roped me into taking some photos of her Smiggle collection....

    When Connor struck.
It's moments like these that Mikaela truly appreciates her brothers. Lucky he's a 5 year old flyweight!

She was fine, for the record ;)...and it'll make a fun layout!

    Sharing

Just a couple of layouts to share today. I have avoided the housework (and the kids) to create a little. It was for the good of all that I had a little creative time.

I figure that as long as the kids are still alive at the end of the day I've done my job ;)
    I'm kidding!! *cough*
    I might even vacuum!

    Oh Brother!!

It is day 2 of the school holidays and things have been interesting. It usually takes the kids a few days to get into the rhythm of doing nothing. Yesterday was a bit hectic as the kids settled into their respective personal spaces and worked out what they wanted to achieve this holidays.
First on the agenda yesterday morning was playing 'Police'. Chief Inspector Mikaela took it upon herself to issue written warnings about perceived misdemeanors around the house.
This from the child who's bedroom looks like Beirut circa 1982! Pot-kettle-black?
These are my favourite 2 notes for the day.

Favourite quote for the day - "There are women who live here too you know boys". She's 10! I guess women is her and I...hilarious!

Now this one went a little too far. Considering this bathroom is only used by the kids, and the said mess is a combination of toothpaste splatter and 10 year old woman's hair, I'm thinking maybe she should pick up the windex and put down the pen!

See this picture above? This is roughly what I look like right now...just without the glasses...and with neater eyebrows.

Only 342 hours of school holidays left. Not that I'm counting...

A little of this and that...

The last few days have seen Rich sorting, colour-coding and organising the kid's Lego collection. It has taken three days to finish with quite a few of those hours spent 'assembling'....sounds a lot like playing if you ask me ;)
This photo just hasd to be taken. I call it 'Lego Massacre'.....poor little plastic dudes :(

This is my new avatar pic...soft focus on the left but passable nonetheless ;) Soft focus is my friend! Liking the vintage edit on this...just a hint of colour in there.

Some pics of my beautiful nieces this afternoon at Nanny and Poppy's for afternoon tea :) Aren't they cute?! Miss Jenna below is usually a bit elusive so I was stoked to catch her gorgeous grin ;)

Miss Piper, the ever elusive 2 year old, managed to pop into frame a few times hehe!

    This one is hysterical!
Does anyone understand these blog counter thingies? It means nothing really I guess but I have lost 7000 hits overnight...maybe people have been retracting their visits?
    Indian givers :(

    Layouts, piccies and cupcakes :)

My family all got together on Sunday to celebrate Father's Day. My BIL...Daddy to my adorable nephew Lachie had his very first Dad's Day which was very special :)
I dragged the poor baby onto the lawn for some photos as usual ;) He is a trooper!

I managed to capture a big grin from Miss Piper which is a bit rare. She is a bit camera shy and manages to get away from me most times. The trampoline seems to be the best location - not least of all because once she is up there she is trapped LOL!

At church on Sunday morning we had face painted mo's for Dad's Day. The kids all picked a moustache from the 'Mo Menu' and we painted them on the way in. It was hilarious. Coupled with a necktie made from paper, they looked adorable....girls too ;)

Connor cracked me up with his ensemble and I managed to con him into a quick pic...priceless!

On Saturday we had the last 15 hour crop before the store closes. It was a bittersweet day but a whole lot of fun overall. I made some cupcakes for the occasion with little SP cupcake toppers.

    I scrapped a few layouts even...amazing!

This layout is one I have made for Little Scrapbook Shop using the new My Mind's Eye Pretty Please range...stunning stuff!

I have posted the challenge at Little Scrapbook Shop this week for our 52 Pick-up competition. The challenge criteria is to use a black and white enlargement and a bow.
